lexie: yes, the odds are against us. i'm a one woman wrecking ball, all i do is break you. your hand, your penis, your relationships, your life... i'd say our survival rate is about 3% and that's... that's bad. but it's not nothing. and i don't think we should give up on this, at least not yet because --

my grandmother also broke her elbow today and went all day without having it looked at and gave me and my mom a heart attack. shes in a temp cast & a sling and it makes me sad to see her hurt cause she is a tough old broad and i'd like to keep it that way umm... forever

so about six months ago i want on a hiatus from being a vegetarian... that sounds really lame but it's how i put it, i was a vegetarian for six years, and i decided to enjoy meat for a little. i had a few cheeseburgers, i never really ate much meat anyway... but today my mom bought a rotisserie chicken and i looked at it and it had a fucking NECK... ugh it was so disgusting/disturbing, so i'm pretty sure i'm back to being a vegetarian for good this time lmao :-/

i'm finally watching the curious case of benjamin button but i think i am going to have to finish it tomorrow because i have been so exhausted these few days... i think i'm getting sick ugh, i'm always tired
there were two dogs running around my block tonight and my mom was like JESS DONT GET OUT but i did anyway because i wanted to see if they had tags... and they had collars, but no tags? what the fuck. i guess she was nervous cause one was pretty big and looked like a german shepard and she didn't want me to get bit, but they were sweeties and more scared than anything :( the other one was this little fuzzy yellow dog that literally looked like a minature version of a yellow lab. i hope their owners found them or someone took them in because i'm getting upset at just the thought of one of them getting hit by a stupid fucking drunk driver on new years eve
this year might be the first year since the new millenium i didn't stay up to watch the ball drop
my new years resolutions are as follows:
- eat healthier and exercise more, to lose the few pounds i gained because of my medication but also to be more in shape
- clean and organize my room, then keep it that way
- make more of an effort to learn new things
- use more creative outlets
- start meditating again
- try and be more patient
- visit the cemetery more

so i'm reading this magazine and it has a little mini-article on this palette of eyeshadows called the bengal palette and it's supposed to be from a company that is trying to stop the illegal trafficking of tigers and shut down tiger farms in china, and it says there are fewer than 4,000 tigers left in the wild :( so i look at the price and its $117 and i'm thinking okay well it's so expensive because the money is going to a good cause, maybe i'll buy it! and then i read on and it says only FIVE PERCENT of funds go to the foundation and i was like lol what??? THATS RIDICULOUS UGH IT MAKES ME SO MAD ELFJLEKJ w/e i'm just going to continue to donate to aspca and wwf >:{

basically um, i used to be an extremely avid reader and kind of fell into a slump, and i'm dying for a good book. reccomend some? i don't care i pretty much like everything, memoirs, crappy little teen novels, horror, psychological books... i've already read most of palahniuks stuff, a million little pieces and almost everything by sarah dessen. i just need something that i can curl up with and get sucked into
